Ultime Velo – Terms and Conditions

Ultime Velo is committed to delivering high-quality bicycles, servicing, and cycling gear. By purchasing from or booking services with Ultime Velo, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Servicing and Repairs
· Workshop Satisfaction Guarantee
We want you to be stoked with your ride. If you're not satisfied with the work we've completed, please return your bike within 7 days and we’ll do our best to make it right.
- Workmanship Guarantee
All work carried out by Ultime Velo is guaranteed for the specific service completed and parts installed by our team. This guarantee is void if adjustments or repairs are made by a third party. - Workshop Only
All servicing is performed in-store at our Trinity Park workshop. We no longer offer mobile servicing. Specialist services (e.g. suspension or dropper post servicing) may be sent to trusted third-party technicians. - Component Warranty
Parts installed by Ultime Velo are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. We reserve the right to inspect and rectify the issue or liaise with the supplier as required. - Quotes and Authorisation
Quotes are estimates only and may change if additional issues are discovered. We will always seek customer approval before proceeding with additional work. Declining recommended repairs releases Ultime Velo from responsibility for related failures. - Unsafe Bikes
Ultime Velo reserves the right to refuse service if a bicycle is deemed unsafe and necessary repairs are not approved. - Tyres and Tubes
Fitted inner tubes are not covered under warranty unless proven to be incorrectly installed by our team.
2. Bike Sales
- New Bike Warranty
All new bicycles sold by Ultime Velo are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty details are provided at the time of purchase. - Assembly Guarantee
Bikes assembled by Ultime Velo are backed by a workmanship guarantee. Faults due to our assembly will be rectified at no cost. - Personal Bike Orders
Bikes ordered specifically for a customer are considered personal orders. These are non-refundable once ordered. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of ordering.
3. Refund and Return Policy (Clothing Only)
- Returns & Exchanges (Clothing)
Clothing can be returned within 14 days of purchase, provided it is unused, unwashed, in original condition, and accompanied by all tags and packaging. A valid receipt must be presented. Returns are only accepted for purchases made directly from Ultime Velo. - Faulty Items
Faulty clothing must be reported within 14 days of purchase. Eligible faults will be addressed by refund, store credit, or replacement, in line with Australian Consumer Law.
4. Helmets – Terms and Conditions
- No Change-of-Mind Returns
Helmets are non-refundable unless they are unused, in sealed original packaging, and returned within 7 days with a valid receipt. - Fit and Sizing
Exchanges for fit may be considered at our discretion, only if the helmet is unused and in perfect condition with original tags and packaging. - Faulty Helmets
Faults must be reported within 14 days for assessment and resolution. - Crash Replacements
Certain helmet brands offer crash replacement programs. We can assist with submitting claims where applicable.
5. Payment Terms
- Full payment is due upon collection of goods or completion of service unless otherwise arranged.
- Personal orders require a non-refundable 50% deposit.
- We accept EFTPOS, credit card, and cash payments in-store.
6. Storage & Abandoned Property
- Bikes not collected within 30 days of service completion may incur a daily storage fee.
- Bikes left unclaimed for 60+ days may be considered abandoned and disposed of in accordance with Queensland consumer regulations.
7. Test Rides & Liability
- Test rides are conducted at your own risk. Helmets must be worn.
- Ultime Velo is not liable for injury, damage, or accidents that occur during a test ride.
8. Fitting and Setup Disclaimer
- We provide setup and fitting services to the best of our ability using the information you provide. Final fit is the customer’s responsibility.
- Component or sizing changes after purchase may incur additional labour and parts fees.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Ultime Velo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of any product or service.
11. Events and Group Rides
- Participation in group rides or events hosted by Ultime Velo is voluntary and at your own risk.
- Riders are responsible for ensuring their bike is in safe working condition and for carrying any necessary tools, spares, food, and hydration.
- Helmets are mandatory on all rides, and riders are expected to obey local traffic laws and ride with courtesy.
- Ultime Velo is not liable for any injuries, accidents, property damage, or loss that may occur during these activities.
- Riders participate at their own discretion and should assess their own fitness and ability before joining group rides.
- From time to time, we may take photos during group rides or events for promotional purposes. Please let us know if you prefer not to be included.
- Our group rides are all about fun, connection, and community. Whether you're chasing a sunrise or spinning for coffee, you're always welcome in the peloton!
11. Gift Vouchers and Store Credit
- Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
- Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Lost or stolen gift vouchers will not be replaced.
